Pastoral CareIn our offering of Pastoral Care, we show the love of Christ to one another. Every person can participate in our Pastoral Care Ministry in their own way, using the gifts God has provided them for the good of others, and for their own spiritual growth.
The Pastoral Care Team at St. John's Cathedral includes both lay and clergy members who visit the sick, the grieving, and those confined to homes or in nursing facilities and hospitals, and maintains contact with those on the Prayer List. They also remember the birthdays of the community with cheerful greetings on that special day each year.
The clergy, staff, and trained laypersons at St. John's Cathedral are available to respond to pastoral concerns as they are presented. If you are in need of pastoral assistance, please call the office during business hours 509-838-4277 and ask for Dean Bill Ellis or Rev. Margaret Fisher.
Prayer Requests: We keep the needs of our St. John's Cathedral community in our prayers. During the Sunday Prayers of the People we pray, by name, for those who are on the prayer list. Those wanting the aid and comfort of the prayer of this community are urged to submit your requests in confidence that your need may be lifted up to the Lord of Mercy by the members of this community. Prayer Requests are submitted by calling the church secretary at 509-838-4277. |
